From September 26th to 29th, the second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Changsha, and African agricultural products attracted the attention of many exhibitors. In fact, many Chinese companies are already pushing African agricultural products into the Chinese market. As a Hunan enterprise focusing on agricultural e-commerce, cnhnb.com has more thoughts on using e-commerce channels to promote the sales of African agricultural products in China.

Agriculture B2B

Founded in 2013, cnhnb.com is an agricultural industrial B2B platform developed and operated by Hunan Huinong Technology Co., Ltd. cnhnb.com collects ten categories and more than 20,000 kinds of conventional agricultural products. Russia-Ukraine conflict harms Serbian apple exports

Zoran Keserović, chairman of the Serbian Vojvodina Fruit Growers Association, said that since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Serbian apple exports to Russia have been affected, and it is expected that the total export volume will decrease by 25%, and may even exceed 30%.

It is understood that about 80% of Serbia's apples are exported to the Russian market. After the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the country's apple exporters suffered losses.

Serbian Apple

Statistics show that in 2021, Serbian fresh apple exports to Russia will be worth about $108 million. Fruit growers say the situation is deteriorating, with disruptions in transport, rising prices and having to detour through Ukraine. Russia is expected to continue to increase fruit cultivation to meet its needs.

Keserović pointed out that before the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, it was expected that this year could be the hardest for Serbian apple merchants since 2007. Local apples have long relied heavily on the Russian market. They once exported more than 90% of their apples to Russia, and now they account for 75% to 80%.

It is reported that the total export value of fresh apples from Serbia in 2021 is 127 million US dollars, which is the eighth largest export product of its agri-food industry.

Struggling fruit farmers

Unsold fruit

In recent years, with the increase in the area of orchards, the output has increased, resulting in a serious decline in prices, increasing production but not increasing income. Especially last year, due to the severe frost, the quality of apples declined, the rate of high-quality fruit was low, and the income of fruit farmers decreased, and many people lost money. As a result, the number of felled trees will increase, and the number of people who give up management will also increase. Xing many years later, the price of apples will rebound, I really don't know when this situation will appear.

Tips for Growing Fruit Sapphire Grape

There are many benefits to growing fruit trees at home, especially those that are simple and easy to grow. Not only do you not have to worry about management during the planting process, but also the abundance of fruits allows us to eat fresh, healthy and delicious fruits every year.

Today, I will introduce a relatively unique variety. Just like the picture, it is a very peculiar grape. Its name is as strange as its appearance, the Sapphire Grape.

This is a breed that originated in the United States and has actually been around for a while. This grape combines many advantages and is also a non-GMO fruit. It is a very rare grape variety.

Sapphire Grape Growing

This sapphire grape is very tasty, with a very high brittleness without feeling too soft and tasteless. It has more sugar than any grape, yet tastes fresh and non-greasy.
